Our boarding facilities are fully equipped to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. We encourage you to bring your pup to our location for daycare prior to an overnight or extended stay. We recommend at least one day of daycare prior to your dog’s overnight stay – three days of daycare is ideal – to allow your pup to get used to the facility and have a better overall experience. Your dog will become comfortable with our staff, and learn that you will be coming back to bring them home. It will also give our staff an opportunity to learn your pup’s personality and play preferences.

How much does it cost to start a doggie daycare?

Dr. Woody Dudley and staff would like to introduce you to Mitchell Hammock Pet Hospital, our 5700 sq. ft. hospital with state-of-art facilities. We provide treatment for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and exotic animals. We board dogs, cats, and exotics separately. There are ample parking spaces, which are handicapped accessible, and a loading zone for owners who wish to drop-off their pets for treatment or a bath. We welcome your inspection!
Dogs like to play like dogs! They will run, chase, be chased, grab each others’ necks, fall down, bark, trip, pull on each others’ ears and tumble around. To pet parents, this play could look worrisome, but this is standard dog play! The Canine Coach in the playroom will monitor your pup to make sure they are safe and having fun playing with the other dogs in the room. If at any point your dog gets scared or overwhelmed, our staff will intervene.
To assure your pet's safety and security while being transported to the Plantation Pet Resort, your pet is required to be wearing a snugly fitting collar attached to a strong leash. (In the event you do not have one or both, they can be purchased inexpensively at the Bow-Tique.) We do not accept pets with a Flexi Lead leash. You need to have a traditional leash. We also do not accepts pets in harnesses except in breeds prone to collapsable tracheas such as small poodles and pugs.
_{I enjoy to get my daily exercise in while walking my pet. I feel it's important to get lots of playtime and plenty of water to drink. I will treat your babies just like my own. I would love to have the opportunity to get to know other pets. While I haven't taken care of other dogs that are not my own, I think this would be a lot of fun for me. I'm always donating to my local animal shelter to help out animals in need just waiting to get adopted. Anytime I see a dog I like to say hello to them because they make me smile.
